OHMOID PHENOLICS:

Pheriolic laminate sheets are Composed of base materials combined with various resins, permanently cured with high temperature and pressure Varying the base materials and resins allows production of laminates with selective electrical, mechanical and thermal characteristics

This guide is published by Wilmington Fibre to help you select the grade that offers the best performance and economy for your requirement.

NEMA
GRADE
CHARACTERISTICS
General purpose grade Primarily mechanical.
XP Punching grade having better electrical and moisture properties than grade X.
XX Machining grade for normal electrical applications where humftlity conditions are not severe
XXP Punching grade with characteristics similar to XX.
XXX  Excellent electrical and machining grade. For low cold flow and dimensional stability.
C Mechanical fabric base grade characterized by high impact strength.
CE  Electrical fabric grade. Good machining and punching characteristics. Excellent dimensional stability and higher moisture resistance than C.
Mechanical fabric base grade suitable for fine machining applications.
LE  Similar to grade L but higher resin content for electrical applications. Better moisture resistance and dimensional stability than L.
