DELRIN 150 SA
Acetal Homopolymer
Resin
Description: “Delrin” 150 SA NC-10 acetal
homopolymer is a resin formulated to provide improved extrusion
characteristics in the manufacture of tubing, slab, rod and thin
wall extrusions.
“Delrin” 150 SA NC-10 contains a stabilizer which results in
improved processability and a very low contamination
level.
Properties: “Delrin”
150 SA NC-10 is produced from the same basic polymer used for years
to produce “Delrin” 150.
Key properties of “Delrin” 150 SA are identical to “Delrin”
150/100 as shown in the table.
Processing: “Delrin” 150 SA can be extruded under similar conditions as
those used in extruding “Delrin” 150/100. The composition is
particularly suitable for thin wall extrusions requiring a low
contamination level resin.
For example, excellent quality 15 mil thick sheet has been
extruded using “Delrin” 150.
Benefits:
-
Improved extrudability in tubing, rod, slab and thin wall
extrusions
-
Exceptionally clean end-use products
